House music legend Ian Pooley comes to Cork on Sunday of Jazz weekend.
A cornerstone of European house music since its earliest days, Pooley has spent decades shaping the underground with quiet authority. His records speak for themselves, from his Meridian and Since Then albums to remixes for Daft Punk and Jovonn, and a catalogue built almost entirely on his own Pooledmusic label. To hear him play is always a thrill.
Support comes from Acid Dave, boss of Cork queer night Milk and a DJ whose sound travels across house, trance and bass with a leftfield, old school rave spirit. Always focused on atmosphere and emotion on the floor.
