A benefit concert for Marymount Hospice
This performance is given by East Cork Choral Society under the baton of Colin
Nicholls. They are joined by the Seafield Singers from Dublin and Elizabeth
Hilliard, their director, is the soprano soloist. The Choral Society is particularly pleased that members of St. Fin Barre’s Cathedral Choir will provide the semichorus. Peter Stobart, their director, takes on the solo tenor role and Eoghan Desmond, a former cathedral chorister, the part of Elijah. At his side Bruno Zajkowski, a current boy chorister, is the youth, and Siobhán Oliver O’Callaghan the alto soloist. East Cork Orchestra will be led, as usual, by Eithne Willis.
