East Cork Africa Day Festival

Carrigtwohill Community Center

Sat 24 May 2025 - Sun 25 May 2025

Celebrate the First-Ever East Cork Africa Day in Carrigtwohill!
Join us for a joyful and inclusive celebration as we launch the inaugural East Cork Africa Day in Carrigtwohill! This two-day cultural event brings together people of all backgrounds to celebrate African heritage, unity and community spirit.

Experience the powerful rhythms of live African drumming, traditional dance, and an insightful seminar on culture and inclusion. The weekend will be filled with vibrant energy, family fun and authentic connections.

On Sunday, May 25th, don’t miss our community soccer tournament—a highlight of the celebration—featuring participation from diverse local teams. Enjoy the lively beats of a DJ, savour delicious dishes from an African food truck, and soak up the festive atmosphere with friends and family.
