We are marking the day with three screenings across the country of the 2022 documentary 'The Oil Machine'.
This documentary explores the UK's dependence on oil and gas, while examining the ethical and environmental dilemmas surrounding the oil industry and the extent to which it is embedded in our society and the global economy. It also features some inspiring climate activists, catalysed by the signs of impending climate chaos.
We will be hosting screenings in Dublin, Cork and Galway (so make sure you reserve tickets to the appropriate screening!). This ticket is for the CORK screening, which is taking place in the historic former cinema, The Pav, 13 Carey's Lane. There will be a Q&A session following the screening.
Doors will open at 6pm, with the screening beginning at 6.15pm sharp.
