Starring Humphrey Bogart as nightclub-owner Rick Blaine, and Ingrid Berman as his star-crossed lover Ilsa Lund, the triangle is completed by Ilsa’s husband Victor Laszlo, portrayed by Paul Henreid. The film is based on an unproduced play which was titled Everybody Comes to Rick’s and is the most quotable movie according to the American Film Institute, with lines such as ‘Here’s looking at you kid’ and ‘I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.’
