Boolaboom are a super-sized brass and percussion big-band playing acoustic house, jazzy techno and drum & bass belters and will be performing as part of the Clonakilty Street Carnivale in various places around the town from 1-4pm.
Boolaboom's original tracks feature catchy brass licks and scintillating brass solos alongside irresistible percussion build-ups and thumping air-punching beat-drops, while covers such as their acoustic rework of Kerri Chandler's deep house classic 'Atmosphere' and 90's dance classic 'Insomnia' by Faithless are sure to thrill jazz and EDM fans alike.
Their latest single 'Shuffle' has been well received with airplay from the likes of Craig Charles on BBC6 Music and featured as 'Track of the Week' on Dan Hegarty's 2FM nightly show.
