We’re excited to welcome BoolaBoom to The Pav this Jazz Weekend. Fresh from appearances at All Together Now, Electric Picnic, and Kaleidoscope, this super-sized brass and samba percussion big band bring a truly unique energy to the stage.
Launched in 2023, BoolaBoom is a collaboration between international jazz musicians and samba drummers, creating what they call “unplugged house music” – a vibrant mix of soul, jazz, and South American flair. With a 12-piece horn section and 10 samba drummers, expect an explosive, high-impact performance like no other.
Their latest single “Shuffle” has already won praise from the likes of BBC’s Craig Charles and 2FM’s Dan Hegarty, and now Cork gets the chance to experience BoolaBoom live in full force.
