Step back in time and celebrate Bandon’s rich and colourful history during Heritage Week at the Bandon Walled Town Festival. Now in its 14th year, this much-loved festival offers a vibrant programme of events for all ages — from historical talks, guided tours and medieval reenactments to craft demonstrations, music, circus, and storytelling.
The highlight of the week is the Family Fun Day on Sunday 24th August, featuring a heritage parade, living history displays, hands-on workshops, puppet shows, traditional music, and more — all free to enjoy.
With something happening every day, including evening concerts, interactive river-themed events, and a celebration of Bandon’s diverse cultural heritage, this is a unique opportunity to explore one of Ireland’s most historic towns in a fun, family-friendly setting.
