Globally revered Irish artist Imelda May has announced her “Raised on Songs & Stories” tour across Ireland in February 2026. This intimate series will feature stripped-back versions of her songs alongside her famed poetry and storytelling.
Imelda says:
I’m coming to you soon! It’ll be an evening of songs, poems, stories, joy and beauty. This idea evolved naturally — I wanted to create a space where anything can happen, where I can share the stories behind the songs and reconnect with fans in a truly spontaneous way.”
Also coming soon to RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player, Imelda presents and executive produces Amhráin na nGael, Imelda May: The Songs of the Irish, a six-part series exploring Ireland’s great music collectors. Travelling across the Gaeltacht, she delves into the emotional power of sean-nós singing and her relationship with the Irish language.
