This Halloween, we're bringing things back to our own Irish traditions in Leap, West Cork. A SCARE AT SAMHAIN is a wonderfully strange, spooky and distinctly Irish Halloween experience, beginning with An Mascallacht style mask-making tradition, where you'll create your own mask to take home.
Then it's off on a storytelling adventure with An Daghda to encounter the Bean Sí, the Púca and the Cailleach, and discover some of the extraordinary folklore and traditions of Irish Halloween.
No pumpkins. No pointy-hatted witches. No nonsense about thin veils. Just an older, stranger Irish Halloween! ...and to finish? Celine's homemade bairín breac, complete with all the old Halloween charms, and a warming hot drink. Suitable for families and grown-ups alike!
