IF are an 8-piece band from Navan, Co. Meath, Ireland creating uplifting original music shaped by Reggae, Ska, Jazz and soulful songwriting.
Their debut album ‘When?’ introduced heartfelt songs from Alun “Minty” Smyth, carried by rich brass harmonies, hypnotic Hammond keys, melodic basslines and hard-hitting rhythms.
Since then, the band have been developing their live sound and writing for their new album ‘Love And Logic’, performing across pubs, clubs and festivals throughout Ireland.
The sound of IF has been described as a fusion of Bob Dylan’s edgy folk storytelling with the infectious rhythms of Bob Marley — creating live performances filled with soul, rhythm and uplifting energy.
