One Year Closer to Independence

Welcome to 2004, one year closer to the separation of Cork and the Irish State. Today you are more than likely suffering a pounding headache and an a ulcer ridden mouth that feels like its been chomping on hay all night. Its not a great start to the year to be in such a miserable state but fear not its nearly the weekend again, the majority of the county are in a similar state and let us provide you with a more positive outlook for the year.

Rather than pining and whinging about 2003 lets look to the year ahead and try to predict the ways in which we as Corkonians will demonstrate our superiority in 2004. Looking into Peoples Republic the crystal ball (that we "borrowed" as a memento from a legendary but soon to be demolished city centre club), lets see what images we can see'
