Hopefully you didn't get carried away on Valentines and do something stupid like producing a diamond ring whilst bent down on one knee. Even if you didn't you might find yourself hurtling towards wedlock sooner than you thought you'd be. There are many fools out there who went over the top to keep the girlfriend onside last Saturday: buying teddy bears with love hearts on their bellies; heart shaped helium balloons and cringing love poems whose rhyming schemes are so deliberately strained that she'll find your attempt "really cute" and love you even more. Uh oh!

Did you know that 2004 is a leap year? For the first time in four years there's a 29th of February. Traditionally, should a feen decide he will propose to his aul doll he must select a romantic place to do so.
