HOW WE KNOW CHRISTMAS STARTED IN CORK
While the common perception is that Christmas began somewhere very far away way out beyond Youghal over the past few years people have questioned many of the specifics regarding the birth of the baby Jesus. Some question the very fact of the birth itself but we'll leave that for another day (its almost Christmas so any evidence* revealed in this publication to the contrary would wreck people's buzz). In Cork the only difficulty Christians have with the New Testament is that they feel the Son of God may not have been born in the Middle East but right here in Cork'
