The Choice by Edith Eger

I mentioned this in The Mental Health thread a week ago. Since then I've nearly finished it. One of the best and most inspirational books I've ever read (well listened to in this case). The gist of this book is she's a survivor of the nazi Death camps, and the work she does after it to process how she survived. It sounds like a lot of psychology, and a bit depressing, but it's anything but, and is full of life lessons too.

Cannot recommend it highly enough.

I have two poetry books I won in a competition to read. The author is a recovered meth addict who now works full time in a library in US of A. His poems are raw and wonderful and real. His life was definitely colourful

It's on Borrow Box from De Library as an audio book. Thank de lord for audio books as the older I get the harder reading for any length of time gets.

Just finished 'I'm a fan' by Sheena Pateel.

Really enjoyed it. A short sharp read.

Not a word wasted. even the chapter titles drive on the story

It's about a wan who stalks an influencer online after she gets dumped as some married dude's bit on the side, for the influencer.

Its a cracker. Great fun in a toxic car crash kind of way.

Brilliantly written, but grim. As is her way!

She writes dislikeable characters better than any other writer I can think of.

Yeah, it's tough going. It would seem to be pretty close to his own story too.
