I don't think so. Even the cheesy Roper Moore ones (and yes some of them were really apalling) had a bit of something special - Bondish about them. Scale, ambition, fantasy, sideboobs. There are millions of movies of this genre out there -Bond should be different. And in Casino Royale they PLAYED CARDS FOR 30 MINUTES. IN A FILM!

Casino Royale was brilliant but Quantum was a huge let down for me. Craig could be a good bond, they just need the right script and director.
Quentin Tarantino making one might possibly work i think Would probably be strangest James bond movie ever.

quentin tarantino is a self-indulgent little twerp who made 2.5 decent movies. he's been making utterly shit movies for the past 10 years. there's no way they'd let him run the franchise into the ground.
