Hard to know for sure.
Older maps show it as being Children's Burial Ground. I think the report said that there were over 900 children died in Bessboro between 1922 and 1998 of which less than 70 were buried elsewhere.
So within Bessboro there were over 800 children's bodies buried. The area marked on the map as Children's Burial Ground is obviously the most likely place.
Unfortunately, there was excavation and earth moving already done in that area at the request of the nuns previously so there's a possibility that there might be no bodies remaining, but had there been then there'll surely still be some evidence in human bone fragments at the very least.
If there's no trace of any human remains there then one suspects the planning will be re-submitted and ABP wouldn't object.
But that would beg the obvious question of where WERE the bodies buried if not there?
