How many people have been Vaccinated to date

Rather than it getting lost in the maelstrom of the Wuhan Wheeze thread, and given that we are told on a daily basis how many people have been diagnosed with Covid, I think it would be informative if we were kept abreast of the number of vaccinated people on a daily basis.

It won't be much at the beginning obviously but as the number inevitably lifts it can serve to lift the general spirit.

Appreciate anyone posting the genuine numbers. Thanks in advance

Do you want names/addresses as well? I assume that you'll be setting up a good old fashioned kneecapping, for anyone that refuses to be vaccinated.

We were updated on a daily basis as to the number of people who tested positive. This was taken as normal news. There was no need for anybody's name or address. It was just a raw figure given. Why on earth would you mention knee capping or people who refuse to be vaccinated.

It's merely a raw number that is sought. We have a population in this jurisdiction of roughly 5 Million people, so it would be nice to monitor the progress as the number of vaccines increases exponentially (hopefully).

Is it really a rant to hope to be kept up to date on the numbers who have been vaccinated for Covid the way we are kept up to date on the number who have contracted it?

So rebs using those numbers, and us all knowing that only 20,000 a week can get the jab here in Ireland for some bizare reason, how long will it take us to vaccinate the over 75s alone?

Why are we being so slow lads? Who is deciding how many doses of the jab we get each week/month? They have MILLIONS vaccinated in the UK already like so WITHF is going on here? Is it our european overlords deciding how many we are allowed as we are members of a bigger european community so must do as we are told and be grateful for the two boxes we all saw?

Anyway im off out, tis a lovely day to suck in all that lovely air and appreciate the beautiful land around me.

To be fair, I don't think they've quite MILLIONS vaccinated in the UK already but I suspect it's in the region of hundreds of thousands.

Hopefully the vaccinations here will pick up pace promptly.

Yeah we are being really left behind. The brits and Indians have the Astra one ready to go whereas EU haven't even sanctioned the Moderna jab yet.
