Seeing as Oasis's entire career was built on copying the Beatles "Rain" from their Revolver album for all their songs that is some claim.

John Squire knows how to write a mean riff and has a great ear but Gallagher will kill this collaboration stone dead.

Squire would be better off teaming up with a virtual known like Bernard Butler did when he got David McAlmont in as vocalist (though... that didn't end well either).

It'd be class to hear Squire play guitar next to a lead singer who can actually sing - like Frank Carter (ex. Gallows/Pure Love) or someone like that.

Ah yeah The Seahorses are an iconic and much loved band. Love is the law is a proper tune though.

Squire guested on guitar for Champagne Supernova on Liams Knebworth shows in a callback to his appearance in the 1996 shows I'm presuming they formed the idea then.

That Seahorses record was solid - if much maligned by the press on release.

I still play the intro riff to "Love Is The Law" as a warm up.
