I have tried with this lot.

The music is just well produced sub-punk realism.


Very poor lyrics and they are just living on hype as if you got the worst songs by Sultans of Ping and mixed it with the Pogues while being sung by Damien Dempsey in a dubalinnese styleee.

As for Fontaines. The music isn't bad, but I'll never warm to the vocals. So that's a no for me. I feel the same about The Murder Capital.

I see Just Mustard are supporting them in America. A much better band. They were meant to playing Cyprus Avenue at the end of the mont, but it's being moved due to restrictions.

Actually Cyprus Avenue have some good gigs coming up over the next few months. Protomartyr, who are class. Bdrm are meant to be playing on the 1st of February, but I'm hoping it will be rescheduled. Squid and Public Service Broadcasting are also due to play.
