M8s,

I need to book a train journey in the UK for next week. (yes, of course it's first class....)

Do I have to pick this up at a vending machine?

Is there no method of receiving the ticket via email?

Royal mail, my hole.

Tickets in the post?

What era you living in?

Plenty of ticket machines around. Just daub the reservation number in with your nose and present card used to make purchase.

Tickets in the post. Ffs.

Riddle me this, fatwa:

The station I get on does not have a collection point vending machine.
I also do not have a UK postal address.

How do I get the ticket from that location.

Good man yourself.

Has it a ticket office? What station are you getting on at?

You can also, by rules, buy your ticket on the train or at station of arrival IF your origination station did not have a point of purchase (office or machine).

Are you pretending to work in Germany or the UK these days?

Jesus, imagine being so lonely as to making up train journeys on the internet for human interaction.

Grim scene.
