There's a couple of Great Bike shops around Cork that really know their stuff, McCarthys in the North Point Business Park and Pi Cycles in Mallow are great in my experience. I don't know is Rothar in Carrigaline still open, it's been a while since I was out that neck of the woods TBPHWYFWIWL.

Avoid both these places like the plauge. Halfords haven't a clue, a pack of surly teenagers with zero interest.

The Edge know what they're talking about,depending on who actually serves you, but they are vastly overpriced, even compared to other local shops.
