Scum, same as in Wicklow last night. What kind of Neanderthal brings an axe to a protest? Delighted to see the Garda cracking a few skulls, proper order.

Just listened to niall boylan podcast , all on were people from newtownmountkennedy. They have been all very peacefully protesting for months. An old man with a walking stick was arrested earlier in the day.
The powers that be said they would meet with residents on Monday for discussion and then the riot squad was snuck in along with masked workers at 2.30am, when only 5 men were there.
Crowds gathered when word got out and police batton and pepper sprayed women who had their backs to them. The women positioned themselves on the front line because they never thought they would do that. Gript reporter was also pepper sprayed despite numerous calls she was press.
All arrested were people from the town despite the captured media saying it was "outsiders" causing trouble. Garda even peppered sprayed people on their own property. BTW an axe is used to cut wood to light a fire which protesters were using to keep warm.... not that you would know anything about cutting a bit of wood.
All there , Niall boylan podcast ,interviewed about 20 people ,mostly women.
