FRIDAY EVENING - 24 MAY

Sitting on the ferry nursing my Heiner, Brian giving me the evils, me worrying about the next stage of our journey. And then to top it all off we have everyone walking around depressed and complaining about Roy Keane. For and against. Now the news had broken for a while but I had more pressing matters on hand -i.e. the Match. Brian and Doberman started to discuss it and it ended up in near fisticuffs with pro- and anti-Keane. So I stepped in and decided to add my two cents to calm everything down.
"Excuse me there, fiends! Ye don't know what you're talking about. Let's look at this properly. I mean in rugby we are trained for these eventualities both on and off the pitch. Yes it's a disappointment that a talented player like him misses the World Cup but we have to soldier on and keep at it! High five to the other fiends on the team for coming out and supporting him.
