Support March for Cork Players

A march in support of the Cork players will take place tonight, Monday starting
at Parnell Place. Organised by Thomas 'Bomber' Roche he is hoping that large numbers
of fans will turn out to show their allegiance to the players.
Wednesday morning is the new deadline for the Cork County Board to tell authorities in Croke Park whether they will have a team to play Kilkenny in Pairc Úi Chaoimh next Sunday. While a postponement can be granted, if a team is not fielded against Waterford the following Sunday Cork will be eliminated from the competition.
The route of tonight's
march will be from Parnell Place, around Merchant's Quay, up Patrick Street
and into Grand Parade.
