Free The Thurles Three

Three of the best hurlers to come out of Cork since the treble in the late seventies have been eliminated from the semi final against Waterford and according to some media analysts, the path has now been cleared for the Deise's Axis of Evil to run riot against Cork next Sunday in Thurles.

John Mullane and company must be giddy at the thought of facing a severely depleted Cork back line. Dan Shanahan won't have Se·n ”g to lash out at when he is skinned and with Donal Cusack also on the black list, Waterford might try to score a goal against the Rebels this time that isn't baked in controversy like that in the NHL semi-final.

Members of PROC's Northside Division earlier today protesting at Patrick's Hill and Ladyswell demading the release of Donal ”g, Sully and Se·n ”g to play Waterford this Sunday

PROC Conspiracy Theorists have been so dumbfounded by the injustice of the Cork players suspensions that they have been reduced to examining several long shot theories including a connection with 9/11 attacks and the fact that the three suspended Cork players are the only Cork players who never wear helmets. We're working on it but at the moment the case wouldn't make it through the DPP's letter box!

THE GPA THEORY
Interestingly, the Gaelic Players Association (GPA) have some high profile Cork members. As a 32 county organisation that strives for better conditions for players they have always been considered a thorn in the side for GAA 'executives' in Croke Park.

It just so happens that Cork's goalkeeper Donal ”g Cusack is the association's chairman and his club mate Diarmuid O'Sullivan and former cork captain Se·n ”g ” hAilp'
