How proud we are of the Cork Senior Hurling team and their management as they carried out a ruthless demolition of Antrim yesterday in Croke Park. While this game might not have been played at the highest intensity Cork were not guilty of being complacent scoring 1-9 before Antrim managed to smuggle one over the bar.

While one must feel sorry for the Antrim fans, so starved of any success (unless there's some credit for winning the Ulster Hurling final?!) the real problem lies with stupid and naive management headed by Tipperary langer supreme Dinny Cahill. Lying below the radar for over two years (because he has been so unsuccessful) we only took notice of Dinny when he made some ridiculous comments about Cork in the media during the week.

Arrogant langer: Its about time Antrim GAA turned their back on Dinny.

In humble and gentleman like style Cork boss Donal O'Grady refused to trade insults with the tool from Tipp. He knew the sliotar would do the talking. Unfortunately we can't keep our mouths shut so now its time for a little prayer as we go through Dinny's statements from last week one by one....

Oh Cahill you're some clown biy! How fruitless every one of those 200 mile journeys to Antrim must feel now for Mr. Cahill especially with the price of petrol these days. Maybe Antrim's Board will see sense and choose to save Dinny a few hours a week in his car for the coming season.   

Cork hurlers have totalled 10 goals and 109 points so far this Championship Niall McCarthy contributing 1-9 and whilst Cahill's other favourite Brian Corcoran managed to squeeze in 2-1 yesterday which made him top scorer on the field.  Alleluia!
