Cork Fans Offer Pat Ryan Their Hands To Bite Off

After Cork’s epic victory over four times All-Ireland champions Páirc Uí Chaoimh, fans are taking Cork manager Pat Ryan at face value when he said he would “bite your hand off for third place in Munster”.

It has been reported that dozens of hardcore Cork hurling fans, desperate for a sniff of success in this year’s championship, have contacted Cork GAA headquarters to offer their hands to be bitten off.

Cork play Tipperary next Sunday in Thurles and a win still doesn’t guarantee qualification as other results still have to go their way.

A spokesfeen for the Cork County Board they would be putting a motion before board members next Thursday night to decide how best to proceed with the hand biting.
