After the miserably poor conditions of the last few "summer months" when Cork was experiencing mono-season* finally the tropical central European conditions sponsored by Cork 2005 have arrived. Although the weather is a bit late arriving and has suffered criticism in the media we are proud to tell you what you already know by now - things are definitely picking up.

As primary schools kids are released into the great chasm of summer holidays its far less likely that we'll get a scorcher as Murphys Law kick into action. Normally as soon as schools close Met Eireann will call in the low pressure unsettled systems, murky grey clouds and long summer days are spent indoors.
Thankfully the last few weeks have been mostly good with a few beach days each week. PRC would like to make a few points to its citizens intending to indulge in beach activities over the next few months'
