Default Ideas For Teachers Christmas Gift

The old chestnut of what children should give teachers for Christmas is being debated on radio stations again.

Many parents aren't giving any gifts because of the whole public sector thing, and the recent teachers strike.

Other parents are organising cash collections (minimum contribution €10) in order to buy the teacher a nice present instead of loads of candles, or slippers, or boxes of sweets.

I think kids should give the teacher pets. Terrapins, goldfish, a budgie, a pet mouse, or something. That would be funny.

A fleshlight or a dildo....

Public servent getting presents from the kids they have failed throught the year.

Mockery..

#3b. Free rail travel passes to Newry.

(they would be well used during the upcoming "sustained" industrial action)

Presents for the teachers?
Can I ask why?

They are well paid for what they do, why should children have to give them presents at Christmas?

Was'nt there the same debate a few months back about giving presents to teachers for the work that goes into communion/confirmation. Would they ever fuck off and teach children how to read and write properly instead of putting such effort into an outdated religious process.

I have no notion of giving the teacher a gift. I am struggling enough getting presents for people who actually deserve them rather than that shower of overpaid complainers.
