| The Rob Harley Blues Band and the Creedence Clearwater Revival Band were formed by singer songwriter/ acoustic guitarist Rob Harley originally from San Francisco, who established himself on the Irish Blues scene having been in several original bands, Clinic, Bluebottle, The Black River Band and The Innercity Blues Band to name a few. Rob received massive press/radio attention with his first solo album, ‘Dirty Black River’ which contains nine original tracks written and performed by Rob Harley. Rob recently decided to explore his roots and form a blues/rock band and a CCR band with various friends and musicians he met a year ago in a local Blues Jam at The Beale Street Blues Bar in Cork City. The members of the blues band are Rob Foley on electric guitar, Archangelo Spino on bass and Oliver Loughnane on drums all of which are well regarded session musicians in Cork City and around Ireland. Rob Foley, who is from Cork City, is a young talented blues guitarist; he has an exciting and original approach to his instrument and is the keystone in controlling the bands dynamics during his impressive solos. Oliver Loughnane, also from Cork City, and Archangelo Spino, originally from Rome in Italy, are a power house combination providing the ultimate Blues/Rock backline that is sure to impress. Creedence Clearwater Revival, on the other hand, are a band that have had a major influence on Rob Harley whilst he was growing up and were always included in his live sets. He eventually decided, having met the right musicians, to put a CCR cover band together, ‘Bad Moon’. The members include Rob Foley, again on electric guitar, Emiliano Petronilli on Keyboards/Bass and Davide Sotgi on Drums. Both Emilliano and Davide, both from Italy, share Rob Harleys passion for CCR and as a group; with Foley on guitar, they represent the pure and honest Swamp Rock Sound of CCR. Packing venues in and around Munster they always end to the sound of encores by both Creedence fans and non Creedence Fans alike. myspace.com/robharleybluesband |
