| La Belle Alliance is the musical brain child of Jonathan McCarthy. Jonathan has spent many years honing his skills in computer based music. When he hooked up with life long friend Robin James, an accomplished bassist and guitarist, an intriguing alliance was born. This resulted in La Belle Alliance's first CD, an 11 track disk which showcases their unique blend of alternative rock and dance music. They are not afraid to experiment, combining live recorded instruments and vocals with samples, programmed percussion and synths. And this is an act that is constantly evolving. When Robin found himself with other band commitments, Jonathan took on the role of guitarist to provide those essential live instruments. This has resulted in a new batch of tracks including You And Me, Back To School and I Woke Up To Find which features a lyric written and performed by Jonathan's son. No one is safe when that microphone is switched on! So what else does the future hold for La Belle Alliance? There are those new tracks on the way. Plus the always tantalising carrot of transferring to a live arena (there have been several gig offers). Whatever is in store, it's going to be an interesting journey. |
