The Munster Rugby Thread 2019/20

There's been chat that Tom Farrell is heading south from Galway. Bernard Jackman all but confirmed it, it seems.

Great signing, needs a bit of luck injury wise.

Doesn't necessarily mean Frisch is gone but if a French buy out his year it might let Munster go NIQ shopping and push for a prop and tell the IRFU to go fuck themselves
The way Jackman is going on, it seems Munster are playing hard ball and trying to get the best price for him.

Yes Tom Farrell is a good signing but as you said, he as well as the entire Munster team need a bit of luck injury wise.

I'm not sure how that works though. No province can outbid the other. Its a case of matching what connacht are offering

Frisch still has another year on his contract, don't see a good reason why Munster would simply let him saunter off to play in France because his head has been turned. Would set a poor precedent.

Now if a french club wants to buy him out of his contract...

I've not seen transfer pricing yet, but it presumably could work...

Tough test this afternoon. Only the bottom 5 sides are out of the competition at this stage. If the Lions take 5 pts and deny us a pt, then they will be only 4 pts behind us. We have to go to Edinburgh and have Connaught & Ulster at home. No gimmes Lions will feel they can take us
