FAO: People who keep changing their invisible status

Well maybe I don't wanna be limited by you and your bourgeois "QUESTIONS", did you ever think of that?

Maybe I'm a renegade rebel and I'll talk tangentially to the issue under discussion if I want to?

Huh?

*sticks it to the man*
But it ruins my snooping.

For instance I know that user A (female) and user B (male) spend all day PMing each other.

I also know that User C spent a lot of today going through the posting history of User D, who is newly single.

*These facts may or may not be true*

If people saw me online and send a pm, I don't want them to think I'm ignoring them. If they're not sure, then it's not a problem.

thats where you and i differ. i want people to think im ignoring.

it serves to add further to my mystique.

That's not really the question though.

One day, I look at the 'Who's online' list and NWB and jungle are there. The next they aren't. They change all the time.

What's the point? If you want to be invisible, stay invisible.
You've a huge interest in me, why is that?

Why do you do it?

I understand why some people are invisible. I am myself.

But what's the story with people who are invisible one day, not the next and then invisible again etc.?

You know who you are.

you have a great life if thats all thats bugging you

You're right.

I have a well-paying job.
I have a long-term girlfriend that I love
We own our own home.

That just means that I need to look at other people's lives for my kicks.
