Yeah, think one of the Irish players alluded to that in an interview. Given it was their first WC they did compete quite well, but a serious lack of quality going forward.
Pretty good first half but dreadful 2nd half. Kept giving the ball away, poor decision making, just seemed a bit clueless with the ball. Two competitive performances as opposed to fine might be more accurate
250/4 to 299/8...Aussies could have sewn it up. The weather could stymie Eng, forecast bad Sun and Mon I think. If they finish them off early tomor hopefully they can set 100+ lead
From reading initial reports, there seemed to have been a few over the top challenges early on and the one on Denise was the tipping point. Can see from Pauw’s perspective why she pulled it (warm up game less than a week out from the tournament, you’d expect it mightn’t be that full on...
Think the Eng bowling just not good enough. Tongue did well tbf, but Anderson still looks off it a bit. Better in the 2nd innings so might be more effective in 3rd test. Still give Eng a chance of turning it around
