Burke made the claim that one of the assault charges could have been dealt with by a Garda caution in the station maybe that was in Con's head as well.

She did plead guilty though.

Also, how can he threaten Thompson with jail if she doesn't pay the fine, without convicting her?

I'd say it's fairly rare someone gets away scott free from a case like this. Forget the 6k, she got off.

I heard that the judge want impressed with the evidence of the alleged victims.

I'd say that's how she escaped a conviction tbh. Just my own professional opinion though.
