2 out of 10 burgers sold in Europe are Irish beef. McDonalds closing will hit the beef industry here very hard

We never eat pork, red meat once a week, fish twice a week, veg once and chicken 3 times a week so not doing too bad but should probably reduce the chicken to another veg dish.

There was one night last week I went up to Super Valu to get a fillet steak cut but the butcher was closed, so I had to get a pre-packed one. There were no single steaks, so I ended up getting 2 nice sirloins for a very reasonable €6.99.

I cooked both of them. There is nothing better in the world than Irish beef.

I'm having duck tonight, a rare treat.

Yeah, a month ago I ate meat 3 times in the one week and couldn't go for a shit for 2 weeks........I even wrote a medical journal on it that has been widely acclaimed by the constipatoraty!!
