That’s about the extent of it. I’d say we will see them lose ground.. they have maxed out their demographic and decided to stand outside pissing in again the last time they had a chance to actually put the money where their mouths were

Fine Fail, Greens, Independents.

It's inevitable.

In a country where Cork people actually cared about the calibre of their public representation Simon would lose his seat.

Is the Green wave going to continue? Can Labour make a resurgence? Can the smaller parties make their mark? Or are we finally ready to vote left and put Sinn Fein in power?
No.

If the people back in 2011 rejected the hard left and Sinn Fein populist policies (tell everyone to feck off Greek style) in the middle of the worst recession in decades then it is just not going to happen now after a recovery in the economy.

F.G. have left it too late and have not delivered in many areas (economy and Brexit excepted) and a likely coalition of F.F., Greens and a few like minded rural independents. A Greta Thunberg election for the first time voters who care more about the climate as borders will be meaningless in any environmental catastrophic future.

Yeah FF are back.

Only a decade after they wrecked the gaff.

I suppose it’ll be fun watching FG give out about housing, and ff saying it’s all their fault.

Irish politics, what a laugh.

Incredible to think that in 2010 some said FF may as well just fold up
tent and cease to exist,

Just goes to show how the electorate view the alternative. Throw them a bone at locals and Europeans but they are not getting the keys of the castle.
