Yeah used Devhook before and 3.03oe-c is sooo much easier games just show up as if you loaded a regular UMD. However when starting up hold R and this brings you to a menu and you gotta turn off a couple of options(think something to do with what firmware its emulating(cahnge from 1.5-3.3 depending on what your doing and something to do with UMD detection) and everything works pretty well after that

Directions:
1. Copy oeupdmaker, oeupdmaker%, 303oeflasher, 303oeflasher% to PSP\GAME150 (for 3.02/3.03/2.71 OE/SE) or PSP\GAME (for 1.50).
2. Rename 1.50 eboot and 3.03 eboots to 150.PBP and 303.PBP and put in oeupdmaker folder.
3. Run oeupdmaker.
4. Copy DATA.DXAR to 303oeflasher
5. Charge battery to 75%, plug in AC cord (for safety, psp-vault does not take responsibility for a brick and neither do I)
6. Run 303oeflasher.
7. Enjoy!

Yep, did this sucessfully. Now running 3.03 OE-C.

I presume the next step is to download an emulator and some roms eh?

Where do i dump the roms on my memory stick.

I am making hard work of this amn't i?

What went wrong?

just get a psx game and put it onto the memory stick - there is a folder for them i think.
they will run perfect , the new firmware has a psx emulator built in.

BTW Otto - welcome to the club.

Built in emulator?

Serious? Are psx games running on psp called roms or isos?

Thats great news, is via torrent the best place to get psx games or can you recommend somewhere?

called eboot.bin - but you can rip your own , there is a tool on psp-hacks for it.
yep the psp can play psx games with sony's own emulator built into the firmware.

Where do i need to store the files on my memory stick and how do i boot from them?

Down loaded Grand Theft auto, there are two files gta.bin and gta.cue.
Does this seem correct?

When i click on memory stick under game, i have lots of corrupted data files.
