Default Best 7" or 10" tablet?

thinking of getting a tablet. any ideas on the best ones - at the cheapest price.

dont really want to spend more than 150 euro. just want it for basic web browsing, watching the odd online video content, and using the kindle app...

obviously capacitive screen and flash support a must...

any thoughts anyone?

i was thinking of either the new Kindle Fire that is coming out soon, or the Tablo 7" ?

LOL @ the AndyPad.

Thought it was a reference to the tablet Smeggle was selling at first.

The only thing I can contribute to the thread, is to compare price and performance of
the processors out there.

A new Chinese processor called the All winner A10 was released in Novemeber which boasts a clock speed of 1.5 Ghz.

Despite the cheeky name, it is actually a Cortex-A8 ARM7 based processor.

There are a good few capacitive Chinese tablets available that use it, but some have firmwares which only make use of 1.2Ghz, or 1.0Ghz at the moment.

Not sure if there is any that fully use 1.5Ghz yet.

Some of these tablets ship with Android 2.3, others ship with 4.0.

Not sure how they handle 4.0.

But bare in mind that these tablets are well within your budget.

Of course you'd have to really research reviews of them, as they would be less known brands,

and make sure they have downloadable firmware and decent support.

processor is pretty weedy. Lenovo stuff generally has pretty good build quality, but that processor would be a concern for me. Especially running gingerbread.

i'd be very wary of any tablet with a chinese processor. its my professional area and i've not seen much good in that area from china yet.

i thought the processor was 1ghz? is that slow nowadays?

i would be wary of buying chinese manufacturers as well, even though i know they are all made there anyway. i guess its for the brand security more than anything....

yeah the kindle fire looks nice, but it has no webcam or microphone - so no skype. which is a real disadvantage.

would love an ipad, really would, but am purchasing two of whichever i choose, one for me, one for the girlfriend. so it has two be less than 200 euro...
