Default The non technical Android v's Iphone thread.

Android, eh?

Sexy?

Better that the Iphone?

Does it have the apps scene going on?

Better than other smart phones?

Can Android I/F with Itunes?

It is true that Android will sink Nokia?

Are we all gonna die screaming?

Jesus I'm stuffed full of dead chicken.

non tech answer.
they both are good.
they are both good at different things, as well as the same things.
the samsung screen is lots bigger.
but
the iphone screen is a lot sharper.

galaxy is bigger.
but
iphone is heavier.

thats it really, one thing for sure, i could not live with out 1 of them now. increased productivity for sure.

I have a HTC, I love it.

I had a 5230, I loved that, but then I got a HTC free, and now I just want to love that forever. It is so simple, I thought I couldn't work it at first, then you realise, it is this easy.

Im sick of anything with an i infront of it being deemed better than a counterpart. I worked for apple once, great products, but so are most high end products. All they got on others is itunes really when it comes to the ipod range. i think the ipad is pointless. iphone users annoy me when they say they can put thousands of songs on their phone, yeah you can do that with any phone, just get a decent sized memory card. In my experience, people with iphones have very little knowledge of techie stuff

I have an HTC Desire HD.

Kicks the screen size ass on iPhone 4.

Love it.

Can use Winamp and not tied to iTunes.

dunno if a 'non technical' android would work very well, certainly not any better than the iphone - sure all you'd have is a plastic box with a bit of glass on the front like.

are ya thinking about buying one of them phones off the display stands in phone shops or something?

In fairness - they look good, pretty much the same as the 'technical versions' actually, but arent very practical for calls, texts etc........On the flip side, if you lose it, drop it, or generally damage it, it doesnt make any difference.

if you're just looking for a fashion accessory then yes, go for it.....waaaaay cheaper

I know this is in danger of getting put in the tech forum, but has anyone got any experience of symbian 3/4 os yet ? is it that bad ? Am seroiusly looking at getting either i4 or nokia n8. Its a hard call, n8 is amazing piece of hardware.

Any way of getting the best of both worlds ? i.e. porting apps ?

i have to say, i was always anti apple ,untill i came across the iphone. its fantastic.

pity they cant do something about the price of their other products, i.e. the mack book pro range.
i know many a p.c laptop for 800/900 that pisses the 2500/2700 euro mac for spec.
