Noelle is free and supports all .ie providers, apart from 02, who have blocked it.

There's free versions as well as the pro versions.

Don't have any smart devices myself so I don't know the limitations, I've only used the Windows version.

The Playbook, at the new low prices is awesome, it is HD already (new IPAD3 is just HD)
Has the option to open multiple appas at once

etc etc

^^^ The playbook actually falls a fair bit short of HD Ready / 720p,
the resolution is only 1024×600, on screen and through it's HDMI output also, it's only upscaled or stretched to fit HD TV's.

The IPad 3 however has a resolution that is beyond Full HD / 1080p.

The resolution is 2048 x 1536

But is somewhat impractical as there won't be much videos available in that resolution, at least not for a good while.

The Playbook can RECORD videos through it's camera at 1080p however, as will the iPad3.

One of the few things Jobs said that I agree with was that you need a 50" screen to tell the difference between 720 & 1080..

Yep, depends on the viewing distance and ppi also though.

In the case of a tablet it's going to be more noticeable as you'll be closer to the thing.

The Ipad 3 will have a "retina display" like the iphone, but not quite the number of pixels per inch.

264 on the Ipad, where as it's 326 on the iphone 4s.

Again, people will be viewing a tablet from a greater distance than an iphone in most cases.

Unless they're blind!

Roll on android devices with similar displays.
