People with downs can live rewarding lives. Sure they have development and some physical problems but it is not a fatal condition at birth.

People do not want downs children. I wouldnt want one. Lets be honest here.

If i had one would i love and care for it. Of course.

I am pro abortion but that documentary truly disturbed me.
Carol or the other one?

indeed murkier and murkier-from information supplied in the Dail " it is reported that the medics recommended an abortion unprompted by the childs parents and that the couple were told that there was no need for a final test. and there was no specific genetic involvement at the time of the abortion decision. The couple were not told clearly after the third test came in that the child was healthy and given an envelope with the results. The couple had to employ a private expert to intepret the results and learn that their aborted baby was in fact healthy.

Again, a monumental difference.
The simple logic is if you don't want to have an abortion don't have one, then you aren't affected by the vote. But unfortunately they still can't grasp that they don't control women's bodies anymore like interfering Stepford busybodies.

If that is correct it is indeed disturbing as it indicates that the Medics in Holles St recommended the abortion. Holles St were one of fastest of the Maternity Hospitals off the blocks on the abortion issue when the then master, Rhona Mahony confirmed that they would be providing abortions from the Jan 1st
