Default 2008 holidays

Where's everybody off to/ back from?

I'm just back from a week at the races in Killarney. A great place and only an hour or so down the road. Going to Ballymun in the Sun (aka Santa Ponsa) in four weeks for a forthnight before going to Manchester for a weekend shortly after that.

I'm sure others are going to more exotic destinations though! Anybody have any new finds?

I too will be staying in Killarney next month for a few nights.
I'm going to the Tralee races, but don't want to stay in the town.
And the Algarve for a week in September

Where you staying? I'd recommend taking a drive out to Ladies View. Maybe 10/15 minutes beyond Muckross House. The most amazing scenery you'll see in Ireland. If you want a take-away after a night in the pub make sure you go to Den Joe's. Nicest bag of chips I've had in ages and it's right in the town centre.

Have had a week in Berlin. Cool city. Another week to take and not a clue where to go as yet. Somewhere with sea.

Staying in the 'old Killarney village' cottages, about 2 miles from the town centre. Looking foward to the pubs and take-aways already.
