Hi, are you suggesting that the million asylum seekers that Germany has taken in over the last 3 years is viewed as a success and a benefit by German people? Have you been to Cologne, Berlin, Stuttgart lately?

Why though? Government are many things useless but I honestly don't think they are trying to intentionally fuck up Ireland. Probably bad management of a 1000 degree celcius pc potato that they find hard to deal with but have to because of eu club and modern realities.

Actually, yes, I spent a couple of days in Berlin at the start of the year and had a very nice time.

I live in the east of Germany so I've a fairly good idea of what it's like.

Teenagers in Germany tend to be better behaved by comparison with Dublin scangers, whatever their skin colour.

Good point. Agree re the scumbag scene here , together cultures though.
There's a lot of tension in Germany though, sylvester in koln and the cover up did not help German perception of how the newcomers would fit in.

There is generally speaking a problem with handling juvenile criminals in Ireland. When they get arrested and processed they often get off lightly, if they are convicted there is really no place to put them, or if there is it's basically a crime academy.

Probably more relevant to my previous post, but the crime rate is falling in Germany

Heard this guy Joe Moore on the radio the other day. Tbh I couldn't understand much of what he said. In fairness it seems to be his life passion. Do activists work though? It must be hard to find time to work full time. What do they do for bobs??

I don't perceive a lot of tension though. There were street protests a couple of years ago called Pegida but they have quietened down.

As I mentioned, crime rates have been falling and people are probably becoming more tolerant if anything. The Green Party is polling in the 30s in Baden Wurttemberg for example.

'A very good article which tells the truth about what happened in Oughterard and how the far right manipulated the innocent towns folk for their racist agenda'.

Ed weighing in again. Seeing as he hasn't been there its surprising what a handle he has on this. Amazing he didn't get elected.

These guys are so arrogant that they seem to be oblivious to the fact that small towns of 1400 do NOT want fugee centres located there and they are rightly furious that the DOJ has ploughed on with no public consultation.

They do seem to have gone there are spoken to the people involved. What do you find delusional about that?
