Default Apple macbook pro screen issue

Came home this evening and when I opened the laptop the screen is black.

Computer appears to be running, just nothing on screen.

Have tried turning it on and off.

It was working perfectly til about 6 this evening.

Any thoughts or ideas folks?

There is a crowd on Princes' st that are pretty knacky with Macs , and cheaper and faster than Apple. Give them a go . It's a problem I've heard of before and generally it seems to be something to do with the battery . Hope that helps.

It seems to be a common problem, there are a few tips here and many more online.

If your mac is less than 6 years old you could claim consumer law
