I don't think it's a nothing story, she will get the book thrown at her over this. She has done wrong and will have to live with the consequences which include a criminal record for life meaning she will have limted job opportunities and huge restriction on her travel options. Girl has her demons clearly, hopefully she takes this as a wake up call and seeks the help she requires. Lads taking pleasure in her situation have issues of their own imo.

More importantly she has let her team mates down. Any chance Cork making it 3 in a row?

But it does happen in bars and clubs every weekend and how many end up in court? It is only a story because Ash is involved.

Any high profile person who ends up in court will always attract media
attention,

And the reason it ended up in court is because she is high profile.

Are you saying assaults like this should not end up in court?

She is in court because her victim made a complaint to the gardai and they investigated it.
Same as the other girl she assaulted that night.

She is getting more media attention as she is a well known GAA player.
If she didnt want the attention then perhaps she should have considered not attacking people in nightclubs.
