I've a vague recollection of this, might have been there even. Terrible band mind. Remember all those terrible scenes in the 90's from England. New wave of wave, Riot Girrrl and of course Brit pop.
Funny thing about England tis always North Of London where the more credible and quality scenes emerge. Manchester being an obvious example.
At the time I remember quite liking a lot of the Brummie stuff like Neds, Wonderstuff and PWEI too.

Some great shows there and thankfully saw most of the bands on that list.
J Church at Mojo's was great too, I think you put that on didn't you. Leatherface gigs back in the day were always something too look forward to. Brawl are probably one of my favorite Irish bands of all time. I remember their early shows in Cork when Murt had his big old beard. For me personally when they changed the line up with the two Cork lads that was the best. Loud, fast and fucking tight as.

That was an awesome night. I remember, though, being annoyed at the fact that the Dropkicks didn't show up til about 9, so they didn't see us play cos we were on first (I think).
Voice of a Generation were pretty good too.

without a doubt it has to be the damned in sir henrys, the local punk tribes were starved of live music and although the damned had mellowed the likes of love song and new rose drove the crowd into a frenzy,i also remember fondly napalm sunday and the unknown wrecks playing in the bodega on a sunday afternoon, more recently the subhumans in the pine lodge was class.

In those days you could get lifted over the turnstyles by an adult and get in for free.
