Default "Boys of Fair Hill" banned in Celtic Park??

" The banning of the traditional Irish song "Boys of Fair Hill" from the green seats of Celtic Park was cautiously welcomed by Scottish anti-sectarian agencies today.

The traditional song, which hails from Cork City in Ireland, was drawn to the attention of the UEFA observer at a recent home defeat to Atletico Madrid in Glasgow where a section of the crowd were reported to have taken exception to a reference to an "armoured car" in the lyrics of the song.

A spokesperson for Celtic Supporters decreed the decision as a step too far, declaring that the armoured car was a reference to a racing dog and said a Facebook campaign is planned to demonstrate against this decision.

No comment was immediately available from Cork City Council."

Heard this today from a lad working in Glasgow University, i told him it was a dog ffs, you cant ban a dog.

But apperently the song is sung by the wolf tones who also sing "here's up the rebels, get back our teddys head!".

Where do ya draw the line he said. Well not at a fecking dog in a harmless Cork song surely!
