Scotsman has him down as a RIRA supporter & childhood friend of Alan Ryan (even though there was a significant age gap).

Stokes' defends himself on twitter as reported by the Herald.
If anything his stock just went up with the Celtic fans.

i drank in the players lounge went there a few times before irish soccer games to be fair the bar is in fairview just off sherriff street so i dont think the ppl living in d4 would come in to make it there local but the bar itself was a brillant looking bar wit nearly 60 plasmas and a few big screens a massive smoking area and great buzz in there

The bar is on the very edge of Fairview, Fairview is a decent enough spot.

The catchment area for that bar is Ballybough, East Wall, Amiens Street and like you said heads from Sherriff Street and Sean McDermott would head up too. Throw the RIRA in and its a fine melting pot

Nice

I hope it was a long jersey to cover your wobbly bits that you wore. Or else you could have been arrested, if you were lucky. If you weren't so lucky, you could have beaten senseless by the patrons of the Lowinge as they do to anyone they suspect of having the 'gay' around Fairview Park.

Which side of Fairview is it? The Edge or nearer to town?

It's just at the junction of plilipsburg avenue and fairview strand

It's the town end of fairview, not too far from tolka park if you were ever there
